Putney Library Calendar - November

The latest on the library refurbishment is that the children’s library is now open. In addition, the out-of-hours drop box has arrived, so you can now drop off items when the library closed.

The café is out to tender and should be opening after Christmas. The library thanks everyone for their patience during this process.

What’s in a street name? The talk will attempt to explain this sometimes obscure and thorny subject

FILM CLUB: GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM

Tom Oakley is the widowed, cantankerous villager whose life changes when a nine-year-old is evacuated from London and billeted on him. A strong bond of friendship develops between them but suddenly Willie is summoned back to blitz-torn London by his mother.
