March QUIZ: Answer!

Published: 27/03/2024 By Allan Fuller

March's Quiz Question was:

On average in the UK how many Easter Eggs are bought and consumed each year, is it 40 million, 50 million or 60 million?

The initial research we carried out indicated the answer was 60 million, we discovered the true figure is around 80 million.

Estimates  indicate  £400 million plus is spent on Easter eggs, and an average UK child receives 8.8 eggs each.

What you may well ask is, what is 0.8 of an egg?!
