What a difference a month makes!  Whilst I wrote back in April’s newsletter on how we were adjusting to the lock-down,  all our team were working from home virtually, and 75% of our business being achieved via virtual tours.  I am very glad to now report, that with the Government lifting the restrictions on Estate Agencies being closed, we have hardly ever been so busy! 

Since opening our doors on the 13th May, I have been instructed on some amazing properties, which equally, with the right marketing prices, are being let very quickly and efficiently.  I am very pleased  to report that year so far up to the end of May using www.rightmove.co.uk data  my company  has created the letting of  more  properties in the whole of Putney than any other agent.  The  team and I are working flat out to accommodate the level of inbound enquiries we are receiving.

It is an unfortunate fact that with many tenants being furloughed or sadly, losing their jobs, there are many people that have needed to find cheaper accommodation and downsize from their current homes.  We have worked tirelessly with our landlords, where possible, to assist our tenants and negotiate some temporary adjustments in rent and I am proud that on VE day in particular, when lots of Putney residents were enjoying street parties (social distancing in their front gardens)… we had the busiest day on record on the phones with incoming enquiries and instructions… so no partying for us but a very happy Cathy with some fabulous new instructions and tenancies being agreed… Lets see what the next month holds, but I expect more of the same, so if you would like an up to date Lettings Market Appraisal of your home, please do call or email me and I would be delighted to either “virtually” meet with you, or in person utilising the new Guidelines.
