The media is full of contradicting reports and dire predictions about the property market.
Most pundits commenting on the general economy do agree that inflation will fall, but then tell us that interest rates will still rise. If the increases in interest rates are designed to reduce inflation, then this seems to be another contradiction. Some might even reason that rising interest rates is in itself inflationary.
We are extremely good in the UK at looking at a glass half full, sometimes I believe even thinking of the glass as actually being completely empty!
As far as my office is concerned, we have had a very successful May, letting numerous flats and our sales agreed have exceeded our expectations with most at or very close to the asking price. Our only issue is finding the property to fill the demand!
