Upside-Down House Opens in Brighton

You’ve probably seen pictures of a quirky upside-down house popping up all over social media, but it’s finally time for the Brighton blue seafront attraction (it’s right by the i360) to throw open its doors to the public.

Yes, from Saturday 18th May, you’ll be able to take a break from reality to, quite literally, turn your life on its head at the beach lodge-themed home. You can wander around the ceilings, go downstairs to go up, or even sleep upside down, snapping surreal shots (and upending them) as you go.

The brightly painted building is next to Lois O’Hara’s wave-y Pride path, too, making for some wonderfully colourful photo opportunities.

As an extra treat for the opening weekend, your Upside-Down House ticket will get you 20% off a ride on the i360.

Created by 25-year-old Tom Dirse, this is the Upside Down House company’s fourth topsy-turvy UK home (their first opened in Bournemouth last November).

See you on the flip side!

From Saturday 18th May, Mondays to Sundays, 10.00am – 8.00pm (until 9.00pm on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays); from £4 (under 3s are free).

42-43 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, BN1 2LN
